The Paranormal

In Ireland the paranormal investigator is fortunate in that our country has a heritage of superstition and paranormal activity. As a people we are generally open minded and accept that tales and legends are part of our history. Of course we also have our fair share of sceptics who fail to accept the concept of any form of life after death.

Many say “seeing is believing”. So in the field of the paranormal we have our first lesson, to experience the paranormal, “believing is seeing”. Refusing to believe is suppressing the energy within us to move beyond our physical mind. We become trapped in the material world and can deny our spirit the opportunity to evolve.

One of our investigations at Inch Abbey

Inch Abbey image Inch Abbey near Downpatrick is a very interesting place to visit both in a historical and a paranormal sense. We have been on two investigations at the site and both of them yielded excellent results.

The group met at around 10.00pm and after a briefing solely on the history of the abbey, the group was split into four teams. Each team was placed in different locations, the north tower, the main church, the hospital and at the north banks of the Quoile River.

In the main church one of the members felt something place their hands on her shoulders and apply pressure downwards. The pressure then pulled her backwards and this was visible to all members of the group. Interaction from the other group members was required for this to stop. Members also heard music. The team was not happy to remain there and moved away.

There were different sighting of two figures in the grounds of the abbey. They were first sensed in the main abbey building and after being encouraged to leave, a team at the hospital observed two figures close by. Another team positioned by the River Quoile then saw them. Two figures were seen within minutes by three different teams who had not communicated with each other.
